Common Name:  Skippers

Description:   The skippers are small to medium-size butterflies with orange or brown wings and stout bodies.   Their antennae are distinctively hooked or recurved at the tip.   The head is relatively broad with widely separated eyes and antennae.    Many species rest with their front and hind wings held at different angles.
