Berytidae

Pronunciation:  [Beh·RITE·i·dae]

Common Name:  Stilt Bugs

Description:  Stilt bugs have an elongate body with unusually long legs and antennae.   Most species are probably phytophagous, but some may also feed on mites and small insects.   A small knob at the tip of each antenna is a good way to distinguish these insects from other slender-bodied hemipterans.
