Common Name:   Fungus Gnats

Description:  Mycetophilids are small, delicate flies with long legs and long, multi-segmented antennae.  They have dull yellow or dark colored bodies and an extremely hump-backed thorax.   Fungus gnats are typically found in moist environments where their larvae feed on fungi and decaying organic material.
