Description: Mordellid beetles are commonly found feeding in the flower heads of composites. They have a distinctive, humpbacked body shape with a long, pointed abdomen that extends behind the elytra. The head is bent down and held below the body. In most species the body is covered with a dense coat of hair or scales.
