Common Name:  Green Lacewings

Description:  Common lacewings are usually found on grass and weeds. They are a greenish color with copper eyes. The adults produce an unpleasant odor when handled by humans. The larvae are predaceous and feed on aphids. The eggs are laid on foliage and pupae are found attached to the underside of a leaf.
